Los Angeles July 4th AmericaFest celebration is one of the most elaborate displays in the country. The show is choreographed and produced by Pyrospectaculars, which is internationally known for doing the most phenomenal fireworks displays in the world. They have done events in Boston, New York, the Philippines, and Thailand along with numerous Super Bowls and Olympic Games. The event will take place at the Rose Bowl Stadium. General admission is $13 and children below the age of seven will get in for free. Stadium parking is available for $13. The Independence Day celebration features food, music and a lavish fireworks show. On the 4th, the food court opens at 2 p.m., while the stadium will open at 6 pm. The festive drum and bugle performances begins at 7, followed by the firework display at 9:05 pm. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or at the stadium a week prior to the festival. The stadium accepts cash only, so plan accordingly.
